RELOCATION

Due to employment opportunities, remarriage or simply to find a more inviting climate, there seems to be an increase of divorced parents moving to new locations. Indiana law requires the person desiring to relocate (even if down the block) to file a Notice of Intent to Relocate. The Notice should be sent to the non-relocating parent by Certified or Registered mail Ninety (90) days before the move. We can assist you in the filing a Notice of Intent to Relocate and if your former and/or current spouse object to your relocation with the child(ren), we can assist you in Court and provide you with the legal representation you need.
