Edward J. Calderaro was born in Chicago,
Illinois in 1966 and grew up on the north side of the city. Ed moved to
Indiana and married his wife Peggi. He also began an eleven year career in
law enforcement. Ed worked for the city of Gary and the town of Dyer, as a
police officer. While working full time, Ed pursued his education and
graduated "with distinction" from Purdue University. Ed obtained a
Bachelor Degree in Management, with a double major in Accounting and
Finance.
Ed left law enforcement, after being accepted to
Loyola Law School (Chicago,) where he received his Juris Doctorate Degree
and Certificate in Tax Law. Upon graduation, Ed joined the law firm of
Sachs & Hess, P.C. He focuses his practice in Family Law and Criminal Law.
Ed and Peggi have two sons and his family anxiously awaits the
arrival of their new child. They are completing an international adoption
and hope to bring their three-year-old daughter home from Colombia in
2006. In his spare time, Ed enjoys reading, movies, assisting with his
son’s little league team, and traveling with his family to different
baseball stadiums throughout the US. Ed supports all of the Chicago sports
teams, but will always remain a diehard Bears and Cubs fan.
